FAQs
What’s the weather like in Barcelona in October?
Barcelona in October is very mild but fluctuates between day and night. Expect it to be between 15°C - 25°C. We would recommend packing lots of easy beach wear, a few fun night time outfits but also a few little layers to throw over.
When is best to arrive/leave?
As some people will be arriving on Wednesday evening, we will be arranging a few extra activities and a dinner on Thursday evening, please let us know separately if you’d like to join. For those coming for the wedding itself, we would recommend arriving on Thursday night or Friday morning…To attend all of our wedding events, we would recommend to arrive on Thursday (or Friday morning if you’re tight for time) and to leave on Monday to make the most of the weekend celebrations. We realise it’s a big trip to make and some of you might have places to be and people to see however if of course if you’re able to stay a little longer, we’d love to see as many of you outside of the wedding events as possible.
Is there a photo/phone policy?
STRICTLY NO PHONES DURING THE CEREMONY OR SPEECHES. We would love our guests to be as present as possible during the most pivotal moments of the day. We have amazing photographers and videographers on-board to make sure we don’t miss a thing! We promise to share absolutely everything as soon as we can.
For the rest of the day, and at the other two events we would love to see as MANY photos and videos as possible please, and tag us in it ALL.
What to each of the dress codes really mean?
Noche de Bienvenida: Our welcome evening is at El Palace on the rooftop, overlooking the city. Dresses and linens are the general theme, but an extra Spanish flair is encouraged.
El Gran Dia: Our traditional Morning Dress is encouraged; tails and gowns as we say our vows in front of our beloved witnesses.
Club de Playa: Easy effortless beach chic to throw on for our recovery beachside party. Sunglasses on, Bloody Mary in hand and a dip in the pool to help cure those weary heads.
Moodboards and inspiration for what to wear here.

There are other great options in Barcelona, but we’d recommend staying in and around the above hotels to help with our organisation of transport and communication.
Should I rent a car? How are we getting to and from events?
Taxis in Barcelona are relatively cheap and do take card. and public transport, cycling and Ubers are easily available to get around the centre of Barcelona. As most hotels (including our recommended hotels) don’t have parking, we would not suggest renting a car.
For our wedding day on Saturday, we are organising buses to leave from the central pick up points (exact locations to be confirmed).
Is Barcelona safe?
Barcelona is a very safe city for the most part although there has been known to be pick-pockets particularly around popular tourist areas. Keep bags closed and on your person wherever possible.
How can I let you know about a dietary requirement?
If it slipped your mind to include your dietary requirements on your RSVP then just drop us a line with anything we need to know.
What can we get you as a wedding gift? Is there a registry?
The fact so many are going to be travelling to Barcelona is a big deal to us so we’d like to create as little fuss outside of that journey. If you maybe can’t make it to our wedding weekend and insist on something practical, we will share a registry closer to the date of the wedding.
